Voice Your Opinion We have established this community page as method of gathering quantitative data about the volume and level of demand to re-instate the VMTN Subscriptions. Share your opinion about the re-instatement of the VMTN Subscriptions! As you might know it wasn’t long ago we were able to pay a relatively small sum to gain access to VMware products for labs and testing use, eliminating the hassles surround expiring evaluation copies. The VMTN subscription was similar to the popular "TechNet" program run by Microsoft. We firmly believe that it is in VMware own interests to re-instate this program – unleashing an unpaid army of evangelists who have direct experience of the full range of VMware Technologies by running them in their own labs. The fine detail will need to be decided by VMware, but we believe that by enabling the enthusiasts of the VMUG Community, VMware can unleash another surge of interest in the full range of products in its stable. VMware has evolved into a massive infrastructure company with the stated objective of delivering the cloud. The next decade will be rightly served by a Community well versed in the new technologies that the company has developed or acquired up and down the entire stack. Most companies would give their right arm to have community like ours, now is the time for VMware to repay those people who have silently and diligently promoted its growth.
